livewrong shirts...
okay, so enough folks have asked me where I got mine, and given that the douchebag is now getting into hot water with doping alegations, its time to get off my arse and offer these things, under threat of copywrite infringement from some assclown who ''owns'' the name and from the lance foundation...but do you think I care...(rhetorical)
SO- get yer order in for livewrong tees now! black with white printing across the chest, 20 bucks each on full cotton.
Email or call for info..

stans fluid
yo, just a quick reminder on tire sealant for you tubeless folks....
1) use a compressor and over inflate slightly
2) use soapy water to help seat the bead, but not too much, just enough to help the tire slide into place
3) WEAR SAFETY GLASSES, or at least some cool sunglasses, because the shit will get into your eyes if it hops the bead, and it stings.
Also, more for shops than for home mechanics, wipe up the spillage if you are just too darn shaky to put it in correctly, nothing more lame than a nice wheel with what looks like dried barf on the rim..
yay.

park city single speed society
Drunk Dirt Crit is set for July 16th at 6PM right here at the shop (well, across the street). It is cyclocross format and you better bring a helmet or we will loan you one and you won't like it.
Entry fee is a donation of your choice which will go to our good buds at the mountain trails foundation, so ante up!
Call the shop for info and make sure to visit the group facebook page from the edwin cycles facebook page, and forgive me for all the techno geek drivel!!!
orange you glad you got a bike?
ha ha, sweet. I hope that the person who is getting this bike likes it! it looks fun and is super easy to spot. This bike is the first one to use the 'kinked' downtube set up for crown clearance, like the way it came together.
I had to 'freestyle' the layout, as picking up the joint location via my computer program was too time consuming given I had to recreate the tube in the drawing first, so I did it the old fashioned way! yay me.
Working on some new stuff, the seat stay crowns and mating dropouts feature radiused cuts for the bullets that will tension weld into the seat and chainstays, can you say invisible joint? fully plan to sell these to other builders looking for a leg up on the asian onslaught (is that spelled right?) ''designed in the usa''.
Also have some other fixtures to appear, backpurgeble chaistay fixture is on the short horizon.
Finally catching up on orders too, some patient folks out there, and some not so patient ones...but all are squared away now. From now on I am not in the custom frame business, doing stock only for the next few months.
Lastly, was witness to how shitty customer service can be. A shop owner, local, who sold an incredibly overpriced set of road brakes to a friend of mine, declined to help him with installation and even went so far as to claim the brakes were 'white anodized'. Holy shit, well don't worry mr. ''shop owner'' I fixed your mess and would like to point out that there is no such thing as white anodize per se, unless it came out of a rattle can (clearly the case as the paint was flaking off just from handling the things).
In a more happy note, as I cannot leave you with some depressing drivel, we are forming a single speed society here in park city that will feature secret events and all the coolness and irreverence you can handle. Stay tuned! first event is coming soon!

sleep...
so its been rather epic lately! the addition of offering full service and repair on bikes plus the retail, plus the coffee, plus the day to day office stuff...oh, and yeah the frame building too! ha ha. I am on the hunt for something stronger than caffeine, ideas?
Been dealing some issues with alignment on a couple frames, quite frustrating, and of course the issue of time management. NOTE- if you claim to be an experienced mechanic, don't fail to be...its just plain rude.
Well best get back to the grind, stay tuned for more pics soon!
